Festival celebrations, events, and activities - everything kept our schedule action-packed this month. New experiences embraced us, and our endeavor to pursue quality education continued.
Amplifying the Voice of Unity

Gateway Education proudly hosted a one-of-its-kind event, Voice of Unity which saw 12000 students from 150 schools together sing Vande Mataram. Major General G.D. Bakshi, the honourable Chief Guest through his words motivated the young minds. This grand event is together seeded by IMCT (Initiative for Moral and Cultural traning) and HSSF (Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair) to instill patriotism in the youth of India.
Khushiyon ki Diwali

Gateway believes that the spirit of celebration is in making others happy. With the same thought, students and faculty at Gateway celebrated two major events of this month by spreading happiness to those in need.

Students and faculties of the BBA  department collected daily use items and took a journey to the slum areas to donate them. The students participated with joy and energy in this donation drive, called Khushiyon ki Diwali. Students of Gateway Internation School along with their teachers visited a local orphanage on Children's day to donate new and unused essential items.

Learning by experience

2nd year students of Mechanical engineering visited Golden Rolls Pvt Ltd. which manufactures Rice Rolls, and exports them to 28 countries across the globe.  The students learned about various casting processes like CNC lathe machine, CNC plasma cutting machine, drilling shaping, etc.  Enriching knowledge on quality control was also shared in an expert lecture by Technical Head Mr. T.N Tiwari during the visit.

Opening the boxes of Traveling

During an extra mural activity session, GCAD organized an interaction programme with Mr. Akshay Wadhwa, a member of ‘Nomadic Feet’ and ‘Teach India Foundation’.  He threw light on how budding architects can learn sustainable habits from a village. He also stressed on how sharing of ideas from urban to rural and vice versa keeps us open for learning and improving. The students learned that travel teaches architecture and life lessons that are beyond the limits of a classroom.

Workshop time with GIET

A two-day workshop on "Empowering Self and Others" was successfully held by Mr. Suryamani Singh. The workshop addressed the need for self-empowerment and empowering the society. Traits of an individual were also shown with the help of different exercises. It was an eye opener experience for the participants, and indeed very motivating.
