Gateway Education hosted India’s first festival for teenagers. The event was graced by top leaders, authors, actors, entrepreneurs, etc, and served as a platform for 350 young students to get lifetime exposure, interact with the best minds and discover their passion.

Gateway Education organized the first-ever Startup Conclave on the 4th of August. Experts from different fields like Healthcare, Education, Finance, and MSME shared their experiences and opportunities in these sectors. The sessions focused on the methods and strategies to build a potent business model and imbibe entrepreneurship spirit among students. It also gave interested participants a chance to pitch their idea and have mentorship support from the best in the industry.

Solo Dance Competition
Gateway International School organized a Solo Dance Competition for classes III- V on Friday 13 July and for classes VI-VIII on 7 July 2018. Different kinds of dance forms were performed by the excited students. Children even made use of interesting props like hats, chairs, placards, and sticks. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization, and presentation of all the students were par excellence. The happiness of the children was amply evident with applause and appreciation. Headmistress ma’am congratulated the winners and appreciated the performance of the children and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.

GUEST LECTURES AT GCAD
Recently, the Gateway College of Architecture and Design hosted two guest lectures in the extramural activity sessions. The first one was conducted by Architect Sangeet Sharma from Chandigarh. the second was conducted by Architect Anuj Mehta, who strongly emphasized the importance of the orderly process of design in architecture.

SWACHH BHARAT SUMMER INTERNSHIP
|
|
Students of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology participated in Swachh Bharat Summer Internship, running under the guidance of AICTE, New Delhi. Students from various departments of Engineering and Polytechnic visited the villages of Mehlana and Kakroi in district Sonipat. They motivated the villagers & spread the awareness and importance of living in clean surroundings. The students' team was headed by Mr. Sumit Kumar (Head of Civil Engineering Department), Mr. Narender Kumar (Head of Mechanical Engineering Department) and Mr. Sushil Kumar (Dean Diploma Polytechnic). The Surpanches of the respective villages acknowledged and praised the movement.

EXCURSION TO HUMAYUN'S TOMB
As part of the Wednesday extramural activity on 19th July 2018, the students of Gateway College of Architecture and Design, accompanied by all faculty members visited Humayun's Tomb to study the architecture of the monuments, with particular reference to scale, proportions, geometry, and design principles. The students were addressed by the chief Archaeologist, Mr. Imraan Khan who briefed them on the history and architecture of the monuments.

Cooking without Fire
The activity was held on July 7th, 2018 in Gateway International School for classes IX-X. The participants brought raw material from home and prepared delicious snacks for the judges.

MS. JUDITHA ROSTA
We have taken a dynamic initiative by appointing Ms. Judith Rosta from Austria as a faculty member of Hospitality and Bakery at Gateway Institute of Hotel Management.
Adding international flavor to our education now, Juditha is a pastry chef and has been working in the field since last 24 years in various establishments as baker chef across Europe and United States Of America. She is an alumnus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, CA.

MS. VIVEKA BATRA
It is our pleasure to welcome Ms. Viveka Batra in Gateway Family. She will be joining as an HR Executive of Gateway Education from August 2018.
After completing her MBA in HR from Amity University, she worked with an HR firm for 2 years. We look forward to taking Gateway to a great height with her expertise and talents.

Latest events
The new session for 1 st semester BHM students began from 6th of August. The first five days had engaging Art of Living workshop wherein students attended valuable sessions on spirituality, morality, meditation, discipline and being responsible.
