Key Components of the Prelims Round

  • Prelims Round (No Fee): Students will submit their idea abstracts for a chance to be shortlisted. Based on the submitted abstracts, a panel of judges will select the top ideas that will move forward to the second round i.e. Registration.

  • Registration: Shortlisted teams after the prelims round will proceed with registration. A registration fee of ₹500 per team is applicable. A Special Prize will be awarded to the Female Team that demonstrates outstanding performance in Women Empowerment.
  • (Main Event) 3 Days : The shortlisted teams will have 72 hours to develop their ideas into a working prototype, pitch their solutions, and compete for various prizes.

  • Participants are required to bring their own laptops, accessories, and any other necessary gadgets needed for the hackathon. The organizers will provide Wi-Fi and power supply facilities.

  • Team size : 3-5 members. Team Diversity is possible i.e. Team may comprises of team members from different organization and institutes.

    Idea

    A clear description of the problem the team intends to solve.

    Proposed Solution

    An overview of the solution the team has in mind, including its core functionality and benefits.

    Technology Stack

    An outline of the technologies and tools the team plans to use to develop the solution.

    Impact

    A description of how the solution will make a difference, particularly in terms of societal, environmental, or business impact.

    Feasibility

    A brief note on how the solution is achievable within the timeframe of the hackathon (especially if shortlisted).

    Evaluation Criteria

    • Each team can select a problem statement on the given categories.

    • Teams with innovative ideas beyond the listed categories are encouraged to submit their proposals, provided they align with the hackathon’s objectives.

    • Applications will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, technical proficiency, and alignment with the hackathon’s objectives.

    • Extra points for team diversity.

    • Teams should submit their presentation using (HACKATHON_TEAMNAME) format. Example: HACKATHON_TECHNOCRATS

    • Submit 2-4 slide presentation or video outlining your problem and your innovative approach solving it.
