Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology "Management Department" along with Gateway Institute of Hotel Management continued to organize 5 days course on 12 October, 2021for students, and faculty, on the title "Life etiquettes and table manners".

The speaker of the two-hour session discussed the importance of fine dining etiquettes in business meetings. Nowadays students being placed in good companies have to attend business meetings where they need to know how to dress and have proper dining etiquette. In this session, participants learned about how to eat the food of different cultures with the right way of sitting, posture, and using the cutlery. The second half of the session provided practical knowledge by actually serving the students with different cuisine. After the session students raised their queries and got their doubts cleared. It was an interactive session. Participants continued to enjoy the delicacies of different countries. They shared a treasure trunk of knowledge and experiences and students gave a wonderful response. At the end of the session, the efforts of honorable Principal Dr. Vinay Singhal, Training and Placement Officer Ms. Ruchika Chawla, and the faculty of GIHM were appreciated who made these sessions successful.
