The CSDEn shall have the following objectives:–

To emerge as one of the premier institutes in skill learning education recognized by industry across the globe.

To develop qualified youth with skill proficiency and competency at different levels as per national qualifications of skill education.

To promote skill education in an integrated and holistic manner with high education to ensure pathways for progression and mobility

To provide opportunities for flexible learning systems and skill development along with On Job Training (OJT).

To frame the credit framework for competency-based skill and vocational education;

To exchange expertise and best practices in support of skill development efforts with any other college, institution, organization, university etc.

To disseminate knowledge/skill through seminars, conferences, executive education programmes, community development programmes, publications, and training programmes.

To undertake programmes for the training and development of faculty members and teachers of other institutions.

To create entrepreneurs by providing the necessary skill and support.

To provide consultancy to the government, semi-government, public and private industries, MSME’s.

To create an Industry-Academia partnership by inviting industries, MSME’s and institutions for mutual benefits.

To ensure that the standard of degree, diploma, certificates, and other academic distinctions are not lower than those laid down by statutory regulatory authorities in India.
