The Bachelor of Interior Design course is a 4 years, (eight semester) programme in which all the facets of the learning of Interior Design are covered. The first 6 semesters comprise the development of the aesthetic sensibilities of the students through courses that enhance the creative sensitivities of Design and the skills of appropriate representation for both presentation and execution of the Design process. The seventh semester is utilized for 6 months of off- campus practical training under an experienced Interior Designer, and the eighth semester is used for preparing a thesis that has been structured to prepare the student to enter the practical world of Interior Design. To prepare the student to be market ready, the mode of learning is totally digital as required in the professional world of Interior Design.

Interior Designers are now in great demand not only in metros but also small towns. Their role has become essential in all building typologies of residential, commercial, institutional, health, educational and office facilities. The role of an interior designer is ever expanding; it is even more lucrative than before. While jobs with architectural offices are plentiful, this course trains graduates to start their own practice where the sky is the limit.
