No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
The candidate needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council complying with the Admission Norms prescribed in Appendix-D.
The institutions shall give weightage of 50 per cent. marks for aptitude tests and 50 per cent. marks in the qualifying examination as provided in sub-regulation (1), in the matter of admissions.
Reservation of seats and relaxation in percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination for admission shall be as per the reservation policy of Central Government or the respective State Governments.
