Energy modelling workshop,

Energy modelling workshop, as a part of “ Energy Conscious Architecture “was organized
on 25 th April 2018 at the Gateway College of Architecture and Design, for the B.Arch
students.
The session was conducted by Dr. Chitrarekha Kabre (Former dean, Faculty of
Architecture Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of science and Technology Murthal)
The session started with eye opening lecture on global energy scenario where she primarily
focused upon energy demands of Buildings and explained how architects can contribute to
change the situation showing analysis of some case studies.
The second session started in the studios where she explained the process of energy
modelling using eQuest Software along with two experts Ar. Kalpna Tyagi & Ar. Abhi
Dewan.
She ended the session with a presentation over Building Management Systems and its
applicability in today’s scenario.
