The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is a national initiative by the Government of India and the automotive industry aimed at building a skilled workforce for the automotive sector. It focuses on continuously upgrading skills to enable higher value creation, promote economic growth, and generate employment. ASDC works to make skill development aspirational by integrating it with academic pathways, while also recognizing and celebrating achievements in skilling. Through industry-aligned training, certification, and practical exposure, it prepares individuals for careers in automotive and manufacturing industries.
