GIET ORGANIZED BLOOD DONATION CAMP

A blood donation camp was organized on the GIET campus. It was coordinated with Rotary Sonipat, City Blood Centre & Dialysis Centre in Ekam Hall. Teaching, Non-teaching, Housekeeping, Gardeners, and even outside people participated in donating blood. The people were visibly excited to participate in this noble event.
There is a saying that “A single drop of blood can make a huge difference”.
To prove the above-said statement: It was a matter of pride for all the donors to donate their blood for a noble cause. Doctors and nurses were present to look after the donors while donating the blood. Post-blood donation the donors were given juice and a fruit to be taken so that they may feel good.
More than 80 units of blood were collected. It was observed that students were very enthusiastic to donate blood. The principal, GIET, and D.G sir were present in the Ekam Hall to motivate the morale of the donors.
