General Rules For the College

  • If a student absents himself/herself from any of the house test held by the college for the purpose of internal assessment or if he/she fails, the Principal shall have the authority to withhold or withdraw his/her name from the University Examination.
  • A student who wishes to withdraw from the college must do so formally in writing and his/her application should be countersigned by his/her father/guardian.
  • Participation in extracurricular activities/games is compulsory for all students.
  • No student is allowed to accept any kind of employment during the course.
  • Rules regarding discipline, payment of fees, grant of leave and use of library must be strictly observed.
  • Principal has the power and discretion to impose fine or any sort of punishment in case if it is necessary.
  • During the course, no student shall attend or take part in any anti-government, anti college and any other subversive activities.
  • Political and unauthorized meetings, demonstrations of all kinds, sale and organized distribution of books, pamphlets, posters in the college premises are strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be punished suitably.
  • Misconduct shall be severely dealt with and may result in rustication or expulsion. A student may be called upon to withdraw from the college if in the Staff’s opinion his/her continued stay is not conducive to his/her well being and detrimental to the interest of the college.
  • All breaches of college discipline and long absence without leave shall be punishable to the extent of expulsion.
  • Smoking/use of banned drugs and alcohol intake is strictly prohibited within the college and hostel premises.
  • All types of leaves are to be sanctioned by the Principal.
  • In case of illness of more than five days, a medical certificate is to be submitted but it will not condone the absence.
  • Holidays and vacations including summer and winter shall be as per the notification by M.D. University, Rohtak.
  • The Principal has the right and power to cancel as declare any holiday or vacation as per the circumstances.
  • Students proceeding on leave without any proper reason shall be fined (even if he/she is absent for any period/hour).
  • If the student does not deposit the fine, the amount will be deducted from his security.
  • If a student remains absent for more than ten days without permission of the Principal, his/her name will be struck off from the rolls and its responsibility shall lie with the student.
  • Students should help in keeping the campus clean and green.
  • They should not unnecessarily roam in the campus and create nuisance especially when classes are going on.
  • No notice can be put on the notice board without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • No meeting can be arranged in the institute campus without the prior permission of the Director/Management.
  • Apart from the special situation, a student can only meet the Director/Principal during fixed timings.
  • Entry without permission to the Director/Principal’s office is prohibited.
  • Students should come in proper dress or uniform if prescribed.
  • Students should always keep their I-Cards with them.
  • Students should not write or draw anything on the black boards, chairs, tables & walls.
  • Any change in address of the student should be notified to the Principal’s Office.
  • Students are not allowed to correspond directly with the higher authorities. Any correspondence with them, if necessary should be through the Principal.
  • Minimum 75% attendance is required for appearing in the examination. No relaxation will be granted under any circumstances. Parents/guardians will submit undertaking to this effect at the time of admission.
  • Apron/gloves are compulsory during Lab Workshop hours.
  • All rules and regulations can be modified or changed by the Management or Principal. Students have to abide by all these rules and regulations.
  • Director will be the final appellant authority.
