GIET - educational cum industrial visit to RISHIHOOD UNIVERSITY

GATEWAY INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY organized a oneday educational cum industrial visit to RISHIHOOD UNIVERSITY, SONIPAT on October 10, 2018, for B.Tech Civil Engineering students. The main aim of this industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about the practical working environment. It also provides students with a good opportunity to gain full awareness about the industrial practices. Students gathered knowledge about fly ash blocks, masonry construction, expansion joints & different reinforcement details. Students put up many questions regarding the Construction process to the site engineer and came to know about reinforcement cuttings, stirrups, bent up bar etc. They also learned the skills required for reading various Structural and Architectural Drawings. Students were happy after acquiring this practical knowledge.
