"AN INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF B.TECH CSE TO NETWORK BULLS"

An industrial visit by GIET has been organized for B.Tech – Computer science students on 27th Aug’19 to give them the exposure of CCNA to Network Bulls. The students have seen how networking is done in the industry. They have also seen 2000 Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPS Systems, ISE Servers, Call Managers, IP Phones and a lot more. The main idea of the visit was to show the various parts of the networking (Switches, Routers and their connectivity) to the students. Initially, there was a presentation on the global opportunities for the students & various other networks designing industry in our country & out of country. Thereafter, students were taken to the lab and show how to create their own networks. By visiting, they get to understand the risky conditions in which trainer work. At the last, students learned “What is Router, Subnet, Switches and how they are connected with each other in a network and students saw how wireless network works.”
