On 20/4/2023, the Department of Management Studies hosted a workshop on entrepreneurship for BBA and MBA students. The event was designed to give students an overview of entrepreneurship, the challenges entrepreneurs face, and the skills required to start and run a successful business.

The workshop began with a session by Ms. Shakuntla Dangi, Assistant Professor and Department of Management Studies, GIET, Sonipat. It provided students with insights into the importance of entrepreneurship and how it can empower individuals to pursue their dreams. The speaker also shared her valuable insights into creating a business plan.

The second session was conducted by Mr. Deepak Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, GIET. He covered topics such as Fundraising for budding Entrepreneurs and Sales and Marketing strategies for entrepreneurs.

Both sessions covered various aspects of entrepreneurship, including

• Identifying business opportunities and evaluating market potential

• Developing a business plan and securing funding

• Fundraising and financing for budding entrepreneurs

• Marketing and sales strategies for entrepreneurs

Throughout the workshop, students were engaged in discussions to enhance their understanding of entrepreneurship. Overall, the workshop was a great success, and students left feeling empowered and inspired to pursue their dreams of starting their businesses. The event provided students with practical knowledge and skills to help them succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavors. The workshop also demonstrated the commitment of The Department of Management Studies, GIET, Sonipat, to equip students with the necessary tools and resources to become successful entrepreneurs in life.
