SEMINAR ON THE IMPORTANCE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING BY MR. JITENDER MEHTA

Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonipat has organized a one-day session on "Importance of Foreign language learning “on 11 October 2021it was a two-hour session. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Jitender Mehta the founder of Experience Japan foundation, and a Japanese language trainer and mentor, having years of experience including corporate and academics. Speaker told the important role in making communication effective and also threw light on the importance of a second language. He also emphasized how language improves one's confidence, adds to the personality and how knowledge of particular languages like Japanese, German, Italian helps in career betterment. It was a well-delivered and interactive session. Students took active participation in it. At the end of the session, students raised their queries and got them solved. Students felt inspired too. Dr. Vinay Singhal principal of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonipat told the students that it is very important for the U.G & P.G students to make themselves employable because any foreign language can improve their overall interpersonal skills and help you to enhance their other skills. After the completion of the session Assist. Prof. Mr. Mohit Bhatanager gave the vote of thanks and appreciated Mr. Jitender Mehta's views and thoughts. The efforts of organizers and class coordinators were really appreciable to make this event successful.
