YOGA AND MEDITATION CAMP ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL GEETA FESTIVAL-2020
A five-day Yoga and Meditation Camp was organised at GIET in association with Haryana Yoga Council, AYUSH Department,Haryana on the occasion of International Geeta Festival -2020. Due to COVID, this Program ran in both offline and online mode.Meditation is the most important and integral part of yoga practice. It provides a new energy and helps in improving behaviour of an individual. Mr. Mukesh ji (Yoga Instructor) suggested that with regular Yoga practice ,human expressions such as anxiety, anger, fear and depression can easily be removed from the mind. On the basis of this ,he taught various Yog Aasans such as Yogik breathe. Kapal bharti ,Nadishodhan, Pranayam etc. to the participants. In this event, knowledge about Gita Saar was also imparted by various experts to the participants. Participants were motivated to incorporate the knowledge of Geeta in their personnel life so that they can avail its benefits and grow more.
