Comspect aims to organize fun-filled offline and online activities that showcase and hones the skill of marketing anything under the sky. Being strong proponents of increasing knowledge by sharing it, the society that is working to create synergies of skills and increase the pool of knowledge about the field of Marketing Management, create a 360-degree exposure and build expertise in this area, of anyone who comes in contact with the society and always keep its eyes on taking the name of GIET to high places.

The Heart and The Mind Way

A Peer Talk Show on "Social Minds: The Heart and The Mind Way" held on September 11 , 2021

Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology "Management department" as a part of Management society titled "COMPSPECT" conducted a Peer Talk Show on "Social Minds: The Heart and The Mind Way" on 11th September 2021 for students. The resource persons were Rishita Verma from Delhi University and Manya Dudeja from IP university.In the session, the speaker discussed social life and how it's affected by Social media that has now become a major part of our life. Nowadays people are earning money through social media also and how it is creating positive as well as negative impacts on our youth. In this session, participants learned about how to be a good content creator and how someone can show their talent by creating their own content, and further, they threw some light on the bad impacts of Social media because this is the Negative Part of Social media where we face such issues. After the session students raised their queries and got their doubts cleared. It was an interactive session. Participants found it a very informative and interesting session. They shared a treasure trunk of knowledge and experiences and students gave a wonderful response. At the end of the session, Dr.Mamta Rani (H.O.D. of the management department) interacted with the students and motivated students to participate in all the activities. This talk show was done by the same age group speakers so that students of GIET can also participate in these types of activities. In the end efforts of Ms. Mamta Arora, Ms. Shailja, and Mr.Ajay were appreciated to make this session successful.

Anti-terrorism day

Campus To Corporate held on February 10, 2021

Gateway Education "Department of Management Studies" organized a webinar on "Campus to Corporate" on 10th February for the students to provide them the proper guidance and direction toward today's scenario headed by Dr.Tanvi Gupta, Dr.Smita Mishra, and Dr. Mamta Rani. In this Webinar, students were told about how effective communication plays a keen role in this challenging era and discussed so many critical points about improving communication and building confidence to compete in the corporate sector. Dr.Mamta Rani took a session on stress Management where she shared her views on overcoming stress. After the session, students raised their queries and got their doubts cleared. It was an interactive session. Students found the session very interesting and got a treasure of knowledge from their experiences and views. They gave a treasure trunk of knowledge to students in a very little time, and students gave an incredible response to them and thanked them for being a valuable resource at the end. At the end, Our Honorable HOD, Ms. Mamta Rani, also thanked them for sharing their practical experiences and sparing their precious time for this webinar.

Webinar On Anti-Terrorism Day held on May 21, 2021

Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology "Management department" as a part of Management and Vedanta society titled "COMPSPECT" organized a webinar on "Anti-terrorism Day" on May 21, 2021, for students and faculties where Dr.Mamta Rani was invited as a speaker for this event. Speaker shared how the violence and terrorism by youth leaves a destructive impact on ordinary and innocent people and highlighted the theme of this session: how to propagate the message of humanity and peace in society. She said that the youth could be shown the right path to follow so they wouldn't indulge in any terrorist activities and how their energy and talent can be channeled positively. They touched every point and objective of this day. She also shared how people can be made aware of the terrorist group and their tactics and plan to strike the terror—the main aim of same by quoting various examples of routine. After the session, students raised their queries and got their doubts cleared. It was an interactive session. Participants found it a very informative and inspiring session. She shared a treasure trunk of knowledge and experiences in this webinar. At the end of the session, Dr. Mamta Rani pledged everybody to oppose terrorism and gave a vote of thanks.

Webinar On Towards A Meaningful Career held on April 17, 2021

Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology "Management department" as a part of Management society titled "COMPSPECT" framed by H.O.D. Dr. Mamta Rani organized a webinar “Towards a meaningful Career" on April 17, 2021, for students and faculty. The resource person was Mr.Deepak Chabbra from Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced studies. Speaker shared his views on "how effective communication and proper time management can help playfully achieve your career objective. They touched every prospect of the same by quoting various examples of routine. After the session, students raised their queries and got their doubts cleared. It was an interactive session. Participants found it a very informative and exciting session. They shared a treasure trunk of knowledge and experiences, and students gave an excellent response. At the end of the session, H.O.D. Dr.Mamta Rani gave a vote of thanks and efforts to Ms. Mamta Arora, Ms. Anusha, Ms.Aastha and appreciated making this session successful.
