Patanjali Food and Herbal Park
The Training and Placement Department of GIET organized an industrial tour for the students of the Department of Management at Patanjali Food and Herbal Park, Haridwar. MBA first year and BBA third year students participated at the tour. On behalf of the GIET, Dr. Vikas Bhargav and Dr. Sunita Saini guided the students. All the students were mesmerized to see the Patanjali campus and were excited to see the entire process and activities happening in the production sector. They visited processing plant, printing plant etc. On behalf of Patanjali, Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Shubham made the students, visited many plants where the students closely observed all the production processes and understood them. The training and placement officer/ HR Head Mr. Mandan Mishra from GIET conveyed his gratitude to Mr. Neeraj Raturi (HR Head, Patanjali Food and Herbal Park).

Manufacturing plant Fujiyama Power System Pvt Ltd.
CSE Department of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Industrial Visit to the Manufacturing plant Fujiyama Power System Pvt Ltd. Situated in Industrial Estate, Bawal, Haryana on 17th February 2024 (Saturday) for B.Tech 1st year and BCA 1st and 2nd year students. We started our journey from the college campus at 9:30 am and reached the venue around 12:30 pm. Fujiyama Power System is a solar company that manufactures all types of solar products including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and all types of solar power systems for homes and businesses. Our student visited the plant and understood how the LED battery used for solar and in our houses is manufactured. Then we took lunch and after lunch, we visited different types of solar power plant and their working. At 4:30 we started our return journey from the industry and reached the college campus at 7:30 pm.

KVG Agro Private Limited
The Training and Placement Department of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an industrial tour for the students of the Department of Management at KVG Agro Private Limited (Ayu Farm, Sisana) in which bba second year students and students participated. All the students were mesmerized to see the Aayu Farm campus and were excited to see the entire process and activities taking place in the production area. In Ayu Farm, the students first saw the automatic milking process. Then the production plants of various milk products like curd, cheese, ghee etc. Visited the processing plant etc. On behalf of Aayu Farm, Mr. Subhash Chander Garg (Director, Ayu Farm) conducted a one-on-one tour of all the plants where the students closely observed and understood all the production processes. HR Head/TPO Mr. Mandan Mishra specially thanked Mr. Subhash Chander Garg, Director of Ayu Farm for organizing this event. All the students looked very happy after this industrial visit.

Network Bulls
The Department of Computer Science (DCS) of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Industrial Visit to Network Bulls for B.Tech 6th and 4th sem students.
The visit mainly focused on understanding the procedure of IP address, host address, and signal transport. Students studied binary numbers, minimum value, maximum value, network bit, and host bit. They provided students with their industry magazine and ended with valuable interaction. After that students were engaged in the labs, and learned router connections. Also, they observed the practical implementation of IP addressing patterns.

GIST Global (P) Ltd
In continuation with routine academics, an industrial visit for Mechanical Engineering Students (B.Tech & Diploma) was organised on 01.10.2019 at GIST Global (P) Ltd., Sec-34, Gurugram (Hr.). GIST Global is basically a service industry & works on international standards ( City & Guilds) for Automobile Sector where students / trainees gets Practical / Technical know-how of an automobile (4-wheeler). During the day, 48 GIETians (MED) visited the automobile workshop, & Mr. Siddharth Kapur, CEO, GIST Global having more than 25 years of experience in automobile service sector addressed the students with the future possibilities & placement opportunities in India & abroad as well. Dr. Vijay Mittal, Director – Principal, GIET along with department faculty members also visited GIST Global and analyze the opportunities for the students. All students experiences new concepts of automobile workshop based on international standards and were excited for such visits.

National Physical Laboratory
Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonipat on the occasion of CSIR Opening Day organized a visit to National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi. First Year students of B.Tech along with faculty coordinators Mr. Sushil Kumar (Head of the Department Applied sciences), Mr. Mohit Bhatnagar and Ms. Preeti went there with 52 students. First of all, students visited Chromatography laboratory. Here students studied Chromatography is the most widely used separation technique in chemical laboratories, where it is used in analysis, isolation and purification. Then students visited Ultrasonic Interferometer manometer, Here students studied the ultrasonic interferometer manometer (UIM) which is a national primary standard and the dynamic flow control system (FCS) which can be used for the calibration of vacuum gauges by comparison method by generating precise and stable pressure in the range 1–133 Pa. The students were shown a 15 minutes film which gave them an idea about the role of NPL Laboratory and its role to strengthen and advance physics-based research and development for the overall development of science and technology in the country. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to the students to get involved in knowledge sharing and to think and work on recent research schemes.

Network Bulls
An industrial visit by GIET has been organized for B.Tech – Computer science students on 27th Aug’19 to give them the exposure of CCNA to Network Bulls. The students have seen how networking is done in the industry. They have also seen 2000 Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPS Systems, ISE Servers, Call Managers, IP Phones and a lot more. The main idea of the visit was to show the various parts of the networking (Switches, Routers and their connectivity) to the students. Initially, there was a presentation on the global opportunities for the students & various other networks designing industry in our country & out of country. Thereafter, students were taken to the lab and show how to create their own networks. By visiting, they get to understand the risky conditions in which trainer work. At the last, students learned “What is Router, Subnet, Switches and how they are connected with each other in a network and students saw how wireless network works.”

Roulunds Braking India Ltd.
Training & Placement Cell of GIET organized an industrial visit at Roulunds Braking India Ltd. Bhalgarh for B.Tech & Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering students under the supervision of Assistant Professor Mr. Kuldeep Dahiya & Mr. Nikhil Rohilla. During this visit, students learned about various kinds of brakes available in the market, and the process of manufacturing of Brake parts. Students also visited the Production, Inspection and Quality, Packaging department of the plant. The session was ended with a healthy Q&A session with the plant in-charge as students want to clear their queries. The overall experience was very knowledgeable and skill worthy.

Home Made Biscuit Pvt. Ltd.
Training and placement cell of GIET organized an Industrial visit for Civil branch students (B. Tech & Diploma) at Home Made Biscuit Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat. This industrial visit involves the construction work of a multistory building. Student's learnt about the laying of foundation and they were also taught how the beam and columns are casted in field. This type of visit helps the students to test their theoretical knowledge and moreover bridges the gap between theoretical and field knowledge of an individual.
